Before we can really go on and create anything great and new we need to 'destroy' what has gone before.

The original source of the sound is from 'Magnum Force', the second of the Dirty Harry movies starring Clint Eastwood.

My reasons for wanting to use this audio are firstly that the character of Dirty Harry is a very sexy and romantic character. A tough, hard drinking, womanising man who is ultimately very good at his job, no matter how he gets the results. This seems to fit almost exactly with the romanticised image of the male artist, drinking, fighting, womanising and making masterpieces.

Secondly, I have always thought his gun sounded very cool.
