The worker toy held out his hand and the signal tower disappeared.

We were a little concerned at first, but then realised that without the signal we would be free to generate a new broadcast from our machine, without jamming from existing vibrations.

The buildings started to ripple with messages, but they were too fast for us to make much sense of them, we just managed to catch something about a TV Eye and distorted masses.

After this strange occurrance, we started to notice more intrusions from fictional worlds, space ships seemed almost too stereotypical in this setting, but still worth noting nonetheless.

The time machine had been frozen, but we circled it a few times to activate it.

Nutcrackers crawled out of the woodwork, free to roam the land the night before Christmas, sinister teeth gnashing and chopping the fingers of children too greedy to wait to open their presents.

More antlers, the 357th pair we’d seen since our arrival, a warning that we should not perform our ritual with antlers, they were too much a part of the old decade and we needed to move forward to the new.

A final warping as we tried to return through the portal turned everyone into toys, plastic and frozen. Our machine was desperately needed. We went to find members of The Tribe who were arriving to help us, not a moment too soon.

Then no end to meat room. it walls that of crispy and shine, no stains floor and blood rush for executions. Those man in the sweaters, their kleidung wore them, that. If we knowed we was so apartment we’d have know to see that and crunch down on the crow that looked like he knew what was it.

Christmas greats was the time and where you should see. Watch out ‘cos we need those craps that make you the next days over. The shop was where we spend a good amount a lotta time. and. Get around that because we isn’t get this shit from here we’re going to Netto instead.

Come home put the flower flakes and turn on the tree, this not our learning to the Alter Mich’l.

As we proceeded through Central Park, we realised that we were being pursued by wolves that had been attracted to our irresistible vintage tawny scent. Thinking quickly, Vanessa was able to distract them through a simple geodesic ritual – I am meatmask la-lah meat rings!

Arriving at the last acre, we were approached by Gülcan who had journeyed through the void to pass on Sido’s encouragement. She told us of a future release and asked us to direct a video for it featuring the major players of the Erotische Bad-Girl Manga porn scene. Gülcan then turned into a rabbit and hopped down another portal in the Hudson river that led to the dimension of Timm.

Unfortunately, in this form she may have had an untimely end at the teeth of one of the lions. We do not know if this means Sido was unhappy with her plans for his video, but are working on contacting some Hentai stars nonetheless.

After our somewhat traumatic relocation to New York, Team Nagual needed to reorientate ourselves. We had found The Brotherhood’s instructions and map the day before inside The Tribe’s “bag pack factory” and we had “carbed up” for the reorientation session.

We all had experience of previously overcoming City Shock, so we set off with the newly assembled “sound pack factory” and followed instructions left by The Brotherhood. They sent us to the Lost Room at the top of the apartment block.

Having witnessed the folded hinterspace behind for ourselves, we went outside to see the twinning which always results from such edge zone phenomena.

NOTE: There was actually evidence of some unexpected tripling, which we did not notice until reviewing our documentation later. Experts are working to uncover what this means for the group.

The Brotherhood directed us to a prototype perpetual motion machine, from which we took measurements for later analysis. There is something to do with the frequency that makes us happy, but  a little bit stupid.

In an attempt to ward off the deleterious effects of the vibration, we produce snow avatars and transfer the frequency to them. Two are partially destroyed.

In the cemetery, we check for further instructions, and are told to lay the dead rose from the sound pack on Anna’s grave. It had lost its head in transit, and this along with the conjunction of the key and stone flowers suggested that the action could open up our minds.

Ana went on one knee to lay the tribute as it was felt she might have the strongest connection with the grave, and she did report a slight buzzing in her head, but the rest of us experienced no noticeable effects, so perhaps it was instead a sign or message for The Tribe. We tried beaming a message to them to see if we could make contact.

It became clear as we progressed that there was quite a time disjunction between the images and our surroundings, but in which direction?

We came across rabbit tracks and attempted to become-rabbit in order to access their local knowledge.

The rabbits led us to two portals: one vertical, and one horizontal. The one in the wall had been blocked by HALTERS but someone (The Brotherhood or The Tribe?) had drawn it back in, but the one in the road was too dangerous to use and was rippling with unused potential.

We were instructed to “look into the eyes of the blue rat”, it took us a while to find it as we were distracted by memories and premonitions of other versions, and when we did find it we seemed to lose some time, left only with a memory of laughing and a car-crash.

We followed the trail of blue rats, and found ourselves at the viewing place for the green bucket.

More beaming eyes led us to the cafe, where we recognised a messenger from the photos with the maps. It welcomed us, calling us by the names of The Brotherhood and their companion, and explained that the old ways had to die so that the new could be born.

In the park, we found that the HALTERS had boxed up the most threatening statues, although they had left some which would encourage repression of MEAT. We found one of the trapped avatars, who seemed to be coping ok with the three gnomes crawling over her, she told us to make a snow rock and hide it among the other rocks, to melt away the HALTS on the Flying Fox.

We tried to fly The Brotherhood’s kite, but mostly ended up tying each other in knots and to avoid slicing up running dogs, Alex found a wand and began to draw a hill up out of the park.

We climbed to the top of Alex’s hill in a spiral and at the top searched for The Brotherhood’s eyes at the base of the singing tree. There were none. We had successfully achieved a state of No-Eye, and returned home to work out how we could build on our results for the next stage of the progam.

We followed the implied suggestion to go to the Arabeske for food, but we had obviously turned up in the wrong time stream because The Brotherhood had not yet left Track 05 for the staff to play while we ate. The food was good though, and we enjoyed the flickers of Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem that overlaid with the decor from time to time.

It was bleak and wintry outside, and The Tribe’s instructions for where we could find sustenance were oblique, as usual, but we managed to get what we needed. Scanning through unfamiliar stations on the TV, we found a tale to help us channel the primordial forces we’d need, and adjusted our meat-masks while we absorbed it.

By now we were feeling the pull of the transmitter we were staying near, and went out to pick up our day’s messages.

Informed and revitalised we practiced our image-beaming – using the Snow Theatre as the stage for our group signal.

Taxi. Wait. Scan. Wait. Fly. Coffee. biscuits. Land.

Sheep-like at Schipol, we prodded screens, hoping we could get some clues for what to do.  The box spat out a ticket telling us we didn’t exist, that we needed to get instructions, that we were PP/ET (puppets).  We stepped down our mind-control defenses a little, popped some Total Loss™ pills and danced with the children learning how to chase the spectacle. The shops were all full of ‘and’ – one thing isn’t enough, you must want whiskey AND tobacco, cosmetics AND perfume, desire AND lack.

Wacht. Aftasten. Eet. Wacht. Wacht. Wacht. Wacht. Wacht. Vlieg. Koffie. koekjes. Land. Taxi.

The plane had picked up some HALTERS: invisible tendrils that would hold us back, so we had to wait while the air tenders fought them off with sprays of poison gas.  The delay meant we had to rush to get the key before the time limit, so two of us stayed at the U-bahn, while the other two went to find it. Crunching through the minus  twelve snow, we eventually found the right building and buzzed the entryphone. The  guardian said “yes, I am in the front house, come through the door”, but when we did we fell into a multi-levelled maze, watched by strange faces. 

Lost, cold and confused, we thought we’d found the right door, but it was opened by a scary bald man who just stared at us. We asked him if he was the curator with the boat, but he just pointed in the wrong direction. Fortunately, the key guardian had just been watching Twin Peaks and called us to the right flat by talking backwards.

Meanwhile at the U-bahn station, the others had been battling the clones of the boat-curator, chanting entartete Kunst slogans until they backed off. We got to the apartment building but the HALTERS were still attacking us, making the key freeze to the lock, everything that touched it became part of the frozen HALTPILE, like a cold Katamari Damasi. We called out for help, and those inside joined in the struggle but the best we could do was unstick ourselves from the door and sneak round to the fire exit, where friends of the cause let us in.

There will be several levels of engagement that audience/participants can take on:

1. 24 hour participants will be able to influence how each day develops, based on the mechanisms developed during lead in projects.

2. Daily or “activity” participants can come along to specific taster sessions and take part. Starting at 10am and 2pm each day outside the Backpacker’s Hostel- details posted the day before on http://family.404corporate.net and on the Eastside Cafe notice board.

3. Audience members can come along to any of the daily sessions, or just bump in to us around the Eastside ‘Quarter’ and watch or join in as much as they feel moved to.

There will also be a trip to the Malvern Hills on Sunday, which everyone is welcome to come along to. Meet at 10am outside the Backpacker’s Hostel.
