Claire Haddon has been working as an artist and educator since 1999. From a Fine Art background, her particular concern is with exploring the physical nature of photography and film, in order to produce alternative notions of ‘the real’. As well as exhibiting in galleries, she is interested in showing her work outside conventional spaces, in places where its status as ‘art’ is not defined. By doing so she hopes to engage with a wider audience and to encourage a constant re-evaluation of the work and its place in the lives of people who come across it.
