David Miller's work questions identity and consciousness by using constructed personas, often androgynous and inspired by the Dandy.
Much of his recent work explores the mechanics of media such as photography and video: decaying portraits, drawings with light. His work has become ritualistic, relating to death rehearsals and religion.
