14 – 20 July 2004
BIAD, Margaret St, Birmingham

Live Art Showcase with two main evening events: the first featured performances in and around the building and the second had timetabled performances on a stage. There were also some longer projects that ran all week.

All performances had some element of interaction, and often tested the expectations of performance itself, by playing with truth and fiction, the relationship between the audience and performer, spaces or techniques.

Gazon Rouge Gallery Athens
Curated by Peter Lloyd Lewis and Natasha Makowski

Eighty artists from around the globe were invited to provide videos of 80 second length each, which were then edited together to form a single work. The exhibition coincided with the Olympic Games in Athens, and the project refers to the ethos of this event that celebrates diversity of cultures but a harmony of  intention. The end forms a ‘whole’, an event.
