New Years Ritual 2010

The Peak District has many stone circles, the one we visit on New Years Eve is on top of Gibbet Moor, a hill surrounded by several small towns. We arrived in the dark and set up camp in the nearby forest next to the brook, before marking our path to the stones, so that we could process from to the stones at midnight. We came back to the camp and sat around the fire eating, drinking and preparing for the midnight ritual.

At 11.30pm we made our way along the path to the stones and at midnight, performed the New Years Ritual. We hope 2011 will be a good year.
