NPC Corporation works covertly to recruit suitable ‘agents’ to gather information and compete against each other in training programmes disguised as games. They go through a gruelling initiation process and discover many secrets about each other and those known only as “Control”.
However, there is more to this than might be thought: echoes of the encounters are seen and heard across the country, something strange is bubbling under the surface of cities, zones of instability are developing and the group are mapping what is going on and trying to avert disaster.
